Oncology is a branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The Department of Oncology offers comprehensive care for management for all types of cancers, in both adults and children. Patients are also provided dietary advice and rehabilitation services if required and open discussions on all treatment options available, the objective of treatment- whether it is curative, palliative or prevention of recurrence and expected outcomes are encouraged.
